We’re proud to be a small company, and we’re small intentionally. We take enormous pride in being a small company and want to stay that way.
There are too many bloated, jack-of-all-trades agencies out there who fail to do even one thing particularly well. Being small helps us to stay fresh and agile, providing an unprecendented level of attention to each and every project.
Most importantly, being small helps us enjoy a great one-to-one relationship with all our clients.
Jargon free
We’ve built a reputation for being refreshingly easy to work with and 99.9% jargon-free (we only lapse occasionally…) We’ll never use 30 words when 5 will do.
Working smart
We work directly from a purpose-built office attached to Dave’s home – no flashy office suites or expensive company cars for us. Let’s face it, you’d only end up paying for them anyway. By working this way we keep our costs low (so your website doesn’t cost a fortune), while also enjoying a really great quality of life. The resulting enthusiasm for our work is most definitely passed onto our clients!
What do we do?

Dave is the founder and head of Definition - he was on the internet in 1990, sent his first email in 1993, and yet still manages to get ridiculously excited about each and every new web project we begin. Bless.
Mike is a multi-tasking web developer and designer extraordinaire who worked from some of the area's top web development and marketing agencies before bringing his first-rate skills to us. He did, however, until recently own a very silly car.
