The site design, tone and feel was carefully designed to be warm, welcoming and friendly, yet reflecting the quality of education offered.
Visually in keeping with existing branding, yet designed particularly for the requirements of the web.
The site works hard to make life easier for the school - collecting, gathering and collating data, and informing parents of the latest.
Bramcote Lorne School is a day and boarding private school for pupils aged three months to 13 years of age. The school is part of United Church Schools Trust, an organisation that is renowned for its high quality schools. The school had an existing site that really did not reflect the quality of the school and its ethos, nor did it make it easy to add and update content.
We worked closely as a trusted partner with Bluestorm New Media on this project to provide visual design, web page build and a full database-driven content management system, allowing school staff to continously update the site content. We carefully redesigned the visuals so as to more accurately reflect the school’s high standards of education, as well as to fit more closely with existing printed branding. We also put features into place designed to save the school time and money in disseminating information to current and prospective parents of children of the school – including an implementation of Google Maps on the How to Find page; an enquiry form allowing the school to collect data, field enquiries and manage ongoing marketing effectively; and a repository of weekly newsletter PDF downloads.
